Single Entry Point

Single PA connects to different Publisher DBs

There are defined processes to connect to the InfoHighway.

InfoHighway uses the Publish and Subscribe model whereby agency willing to share data is the Publisher and the one requesting data is the Subscriber

InfoHighway operates over a secured infrastructure hosted at the Government Online Centre and shares information over the Government Intranet Network.

The InfoHighway platform is secured based on the following principle.

Multi-layers security enforced.

Approval resides at several independent bodies.

Publisher has full control of their database and can stop  connection at any point in time.

The whole setup is on the Government setup.

None of the InfoHighway servers are available on the internet currently.

Constant monitoring is performed using the InfoWatch dashboard.
